CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES
Our lab is continuously seeking motivated students and researchers who are eager to join our team. If you are interested, please feel free to contact us at severin.ronneau@univ-rennes.fr.
The Ronneau Lab (Rennes, France) is seeking candidates interested in applying for European postdoctoral fellowships (EMBO and/or Marie Skłodowska-Curie).
What do we study?
From the moment they encounter their host, bacterial pathogens face numerous stresses. For instance, bacteria that are ingested must withstand antimicrobial compounds in saliva and the acidic pH of the stomach. They also need to evade the immune system while efficiently acquiring nutrients. Our lab investigates how pathogenic enterobacteria adapt to these stressful environments by activating appropriate stress responses.

You are defending your PhD within the next year in a European lab (outside France)
You have at least one first-author paper or preprint by the end of your PhD
